CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The National Weather Service in Nashville says an outbreak of severe thunderstorms across the southeast Wednesday is possible. This may affect the Middle Tennessee region.
Currently there is a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and wind gusts throughout the day may be as high as 30 miles per hour.
More showers and thunderstorms are likely Wednesday evening but should switch over to just rain by 7 p.m.
The main concerns will be hail, damaging winds, and the chance of tornadoes. Current outlook predictions show Clarksville-Montgomery County in the enhanced risk category for severe storms.
