CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (Clarksvillenow.com) Pro Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter of Clarksville, Cory Alexander, left for Russia this week to compete in a professional MMA event on May 20th. Alexander said MMA fighting is big in Russia with fights just about every week.
Alexander, who was a recent guest on the Tiffany & Tyler, Z97-5 morning show, is a flyweight competitor who is ranked 4th in the southeast and 1st in TN and KY.
Alexander fights out of SSF Submission Academy in Clarksville.
This will not be Alexander’s only bout in Russia. He says he has signed a contract and will be going back for other fights. Ron Dayley is Cory’s manager and will be heading off to Russia with him and said the fight will be streamed online.
