CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Another big weekend of fun is in store, with the Kiwanis Rodeo, a Michael Jackson tribute concert, helicopter rides and a Roxy play!

Bill Hoy Kiwanis Rodeo

  • Details: The 37th annual Bill Hoy Kiwanis Rodeo, hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Clarksville and sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, features top competitors in events like bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding and more.

Downtown @ Sundown

  • Where: Downtown Commons, 215 Legion St.
  • When: 7-10 p.m. Friday, May 15

  • Details: Who’s Bad (Michael Jackson tribute) will be performing. Food trucks will also be present.

Gathering of Eagles

  • Where: Clarksville Regional Airport, 200 Airport Road
  • When: May 16-17, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. daily
  • Cost: Free admission; helicopter rides available for a fee
  • Details: The 2/17th Air Cavalry event, hosted by Sky Soldiers, will feature static displays of military helicopters and ground vehicles, along with a mobile military museum inside the airport terminal. Attendees can also purchase rides in Vietnam-era aircraft, including a Bell UH-1 Huey and Bell AH-1 Cobra. Food trucks on site.

The Music Man JR.

  • Where: Roxy Regional Theatre, 114 Public Square
  • When: 7 p.m. May 8, 9, 14, 15 and 16; 2 p.m. May 9, 10 and 16

  • Details: This 60-minute youth production of The Music Man JR. brings the classic story of fast-talking salesman Harold Hill and librarian Marian to life.
