At around 3 a.m. on Nov. 23, Oak Grove Police officers responded to a shooting on Fort Campbell Boulevard that resulted in the death of 25-year-old Jaylin Glenn. Through an investigation, authorities determined that 28-year-old Avery Bates of Clarksville fired the fatal shot, according to previous reports.

He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and is awaiting extradition to Kentucky.
