Update, 5:40 p.m.: Rossview High vs. Clarksville High has been pushed back to 8 p.m. on Friday., according to Hawks head coach Stratie Young.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Friday night’s high school football kickoff times have been delayed due to the extreme heat, with five area matchups now scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
Montgomery County features four must-see matchups Friday night, with other area teams playing in surrounding counties.
Rossview vs. Clarksville, Kenwood vs. Kirkwood, McCracken County vs. Northeast, Montgomery Central vs. Harpeth, and Antioch vs. West Creek have all been pushed back to 7:30 p.m.
Fort Knox vs. Fort Campbell and Northwest vs. Davidson Academy remain scheduled for 7 p.m.
The heat index will be monitored throughout the day, and this story will be updated if further delays are announced for tonight’s football matchups.
