CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Again earning its distinction as the highest contributing workplace partner, Trane recently completed its local United Way campaign with unparalleled support.
A check for $150,656 was presented to United Way Executive Director Ginna Holleman, representing the combined total of employee pledges and Trane’s 100% corporate match to employee giving. The check was presented by Trane Clarksville Plant Manager Adi Singh, along with employees Ernie Epps, President of Machinists Union Local 1296, Dana Phillips and Danny Black.
Maintaining its lead in workplace giving, Trane’s total contribution to United Way increased by 23% this year. “Ingersoll Rand and Trane, along with our employees, have a long history of supporting the United Way organization and all the good work they do. We are very proud of our employees who continue to make a difference in our great community, year after year,” commented Adi Singh, Trane Plant Manager. Trane employees also contribute time and talents by volunteering at local United Way partner programs, participating during special projects such as Days of Caring and serving on United Way committees.
