ERIN, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – When I-Rish Upon A Shamrock is the theme for the 2018 Irish Day Celebration in Erin, happening this Saturday, March 17.
Attendees can enjoy a parade, vendors, live music, a demolition derby, and more.
The festival is tradition because the town was settled by Irish immigrants in the 1850s. Main Street and the rest of the town will be decked out in green decorations galore.

GRAND Parade
Parade starts at 11:00 a.m.
Main Street closes at 10:00 a.m. in preparation for the parade. No animals are permitted, except for service animals.
Leprechaun Parade
Young Leprechauns are invited to help lead the parade. They will leave from the Erin Nazarene Church ahead of the Grand Parade. Judging will begin at 10:30 a.m., so parents need to arrive early. There will be no last minute entries or judging. Leprechauns will be judged according to costume and/or ride.
Demolition Derby
