Cakes For Christmas is a fundraiser for a local boy named Zachery (11) who has been diagnosed with a rare disease called Superficial Siderosis. One of the tragic side effects of his disease is hearing loss. We are raising funds to get Zachary hearing aids for Christmas. Please come out and support the cause….there will be more than just cakes to purchase and donations will be taken as well. Student “Elves” are creating various crafts that they will sell on Saturday, December 14th in the Kenwood High School Cafeteria from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
This Shopping event is open to anyone and everyone wanting to purchase handmade crafts for those on this year’s Christmas list!
The Incredible LOW prices of the quality crafts range from $1.00 to $5.00 each.
Personal “Elves” are available to help children shoppers secretly buy gifts for their family members!
Gift wrapping will also be included!

Come to the Fort Defiance Interpretive Center Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 3 to 6 p.m., to experience the holidays as soldiers and civilians did in the 1860s.
Visitors to the event will be able to step back in time and see period decorations, visit with a nineteenth century Santa, and enjoy eggnog, cakes and caroling.
The event is free and open to the public.

Every year at Lylewood Inn, we open our doors and invite you to a true Holiday Event for the entire family. For 10 years, we have been portraying the Lewis family and the history of this home through actors who carry you back in time by candlelight to the 1800’s. The home is decorated with candlelight, Christmas lights, and lots of Victorian garland. Bring your family and enjoy an evening of holiday cheer. You may come for just the tour or enjoy the entire evening as you join us for an all you can eat Holiday Feast! Complete with Turkey, Dressing, Ham and all the fixings.

This will be a talent show that features hype dancing, fantastic singing, live hip hop, and much more. it will feature demonstrations from some super talented step teams such as Northeast High school, Northwest High, and also Kenwood High! Also being featured is Northeast Middle, and the Alpha Xi steppers! The proceeds will go towards helping families enjoy Christmas from a wishlist, and food baskets. Come out and be entertained with live music and talent! This event is open to the community and all ages. There will be a $5.00 admission, and refreshments will be sold at the event.
