CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee-Clarksville Club hosted its second annual Summer Festival on Saturday at Kenwood High School. The event featured vendors, arts and crafts, bounce houses, food trucks and more.

“We are here today to bring awareness to the community that we are coming to Clarksville and we’re excited about that,” said Deidre Ward, Clarksville Board chairperson.

More than 200 kids age 17 and younger, along with over 310 adults were welcomed at the festival. This year the event raised close to $6,500. Ward said they are looking for support for the third annual Boys & Girls Clubs Summer Festival in May 2027.

Ward added they are at the halfway mark and they need the community to help them get to $600,000. The Boys & Girls Club is in the planning phases of having a three-day summer coding camp in July, and they are looking for participants.
