CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Montgomery and surrounding counties are under a Tornado Watch until 11 a.m.
The National Weather Service has issued the alert for Montgomery, Cheatham, Dickson, Houston, Stewart and Robertson counties, in addition to others in Middle Tennessee.
A Tornado Watch means that conditions are right for a tornado to form. If a tornado is spotted, a Warning will be issued.
Montgomery County is also under a Flood Advisory, with up to 4 inches of rain fallen in the area.
In Kentucky, a Flash Flood Warning has been issued for Christian, Trigg, Todd and Caldwell counties.

Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7am. Mostly sunny, with a temperature rising to near 57 by noon, then falling to around 50 during the remainder of the day. West southwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 36. West southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
