Tamara Ellen Rookstool, 60, of Clarksville, TN, died on Monday, July 29, 2013 at her residence. She was born on September 14, 1952 in Ft. Campbell, KY to Dale D. Spitzer and the late Gloria B. Vandevelde Spitzer.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, August 4, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Larry Peters officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 4, 2013 from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Tamara was an Austin Peay graduate and retired after a career as a special education teacher in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System.
She is survived by her father and step-mother, Dale D. and Ginny Spitzer of Clarksville, TN; sons, Alexander (Heather) Spitzer of Tucson, AZ and Nicholaus (Jackie) Rookstool of Palm Coast, FL; brother, Duane Spitzer of Santa Fe, NM; niece, Samantha Spitzer of Santa Fe, NM; nephew, Pablo Spitzer of Santa Fe, NM; cousin, Jackie Borders of Clarksville, TN; and four grandchildren.
