CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Rossview High School football coach Todd Hood announced Thursday night at the Hawks team banquet that he is retiring from coaching after a 32-year career.
Hood has made stops all over Clarksville, including Montgomery Central, Northwest, Clarksville High and Fort Campbell, before becoming the head coach at Clarksville Academy and then the head coach at Rossview. Hood had a 46-31 record and five playoff appearances as the head coach of the Cougars.
Meanwhile, Hood went 42-42 in his time with the Hawks, which included collecting another five playoff appearances. During his last season as head coach in 2024-25, Rossview went 8-2, which marked their best record in over a decade.
Now, Hood will step away from the game, and Rossview will begin to look for their next head man to lead the program.
