Update, 11:40 a.m.: The roadway is back open.
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A woman was shot in a domestic incident Monday morning in north Clarksville.
At around 10:17 a.m., Clarksville Police responded to a shooting at a residence on Samantha Lane, off Trenton Road, where one adult female had been shot, according to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien.
Police believe there is no threat to the public. “This appears to be a domestic-related incident, but it remains an active investigation,” he said. All individuals involved are said to be cooperating with officers at the scene.
Tylertown Road is shut down between Samantha Lane and Clarksville Fire Rescue Station 11, with traffic being diverted onto Roscommon Way.
