CLARKSVILLE, TN − With property taxes due in February, the city and county will add Saturday hours in February.

City of Clarksville

The City of Clarksville Finance and Revenue Department will be open on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. through the month of February, beginning this Saturday, Feb. 1.

No Department of Motor Vehicle services are offered on Saturdays. City property tax bills for real and personal property were mailed out in September and are due by Feb. 28.

The Revenue Office is located on the first floor of City Hall (1 Public Square). Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Citizens can also visit the North Clarksville City Service Center at 111 Cunningham Lane during normal business hours (Monday through Friday).

For those not wishing to visit the Revenue Office in person, property tax bills can also be paid online at https://www.cityofclarksville.com/173/Property-Tax.

Montgomery County

The Montgomery County Trustee’s Office extends its service hours in February for Montgomery County residents and will be open each Saturday during the month of February from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

All County Trustee services, including the new reimbursement wheel tax, for those age 65 and older who meet the criteria for the refund, will be provided during the extended Saturday hours.

“We provide extended hours for our services every February as an added convenience for the residents of Montgomery County to make it easier to conduct business with the Trustee’s Office. It means so much to me that we get to spend time helping our elderly taxpayers on Saturdays with tax relief and tax freeze paperwork,” said Trustee Kimberly Wiggins.

The Trustee’s Office is located at 350 Pageant Lane, in Veterans Plaza, Suite 101-B. To see all available services through the Trustee’s Department, visit mcgtn.org. For questions or more information, call 931-648-5717.
