NASHVILLE, Tenn. – For the first time in over a week, quarterback Marcus Mariota was back on the practice field for the Tennessee Titans Wednesday, according to WKRN News 2.

Mariota continues to recover from a sprained left MCL that he suffered 10 days ago against the Dolphins.

He did not participate in a full practice being listed as “limited” on the injury report and was wearing a knee brace as he begins the process of getting back to work on the field.

“I went through some routes, did some handoffs and it felt good, you know? I was able to go through most of it so continuing on through this week we’ll kind of add on some more things and see if I can continue to feel good and handle it,” Mariota told News 2.

Mariota’s status for Sunday’s game against the Texans is uncertain and the team plans on taking his recovery day-by-day.

The Titans have two more days of practice before leaving for their game with Houston on Sunday.
