CLARKSVILLE. Tenn. -The Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery Co. has added All God’s Creatures (Kraft St.) and New Hope Veterinary Clinic (Joelton) to its current list of spay-neuter veterinary partners, which now sits at 15 partners.

Other clinics include Animal Hospital (McClure St.), Animal House (Dover Rd.), Cats on Commerce (downtown), Eastview Vet Clinic (Madison St.), Family Pet Hospital (Exit 11), Houston Co. Animal Clinic (Erin), North Stewart Vet Clinic (Dover), Oak Grove Animal Hospital, Parkway Animal Clinic (McClardy Rd.), Pet Calls LLC (mobile clinic), Sango Veterinary Clinic (Madison St. near Walmart), Southside Vet Clinic (Hwy. 48/13), and Tiny Town Vet Clinic (Exit 1).

Each veterinary partner’s participation enables the Humane Society to offer affordable spay-neuter surgeries to families of all income levels that would not or could not spay or neuter their pets otherwise.

Spaying and neutering reduces overpopulation; prevents unfortunate euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals; improves pet behavior; and reduces the risk of mammary, ovarian, prostate, and testicular cancers.

Since the spay-neuter program’s inception in 2004, the Humane Society has continued to combine local veterinary discounts and spay-neuter grants to provide nearly 8,000 dogs and cats with low-cost spay-neuter surgeries.

To purchase a spay-neuter voucher, stop by the Humane Society office, 940 Tennessee Ave. (behind Arby’s off Riverside Dr.) during office hours: Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat 9 a.m.-2 p.m. or Wed/Thur 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Cash or credit/debit accepted.
