CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Hauled Off Junk Removal is removing real, non-artificial Christmas trees for free for Clarksville residents.
The trees will be dropped off at the city’s collection point at Heritage Park, where they will be chipped and distributed to local playgrounds, according to owner Justin Spivey.
“We’ve been around over six years and we wanted to give back to the community,” he said.
To have your tree picked up, call 931-217-1711 by Jan. 3 at 4 p.m. The trees will be picked up on Jan. 5 and Jan. 7.
Any decorations on the tree must be removed, and the tree must be placed at the curb of the residence.
“With everything with the holidays, it’s one less thing for Clarksville to worry about,” Spivey said.
Tree dropoff
Through Jan. 10, Clarksville residents can drop off undecorated, unbagged, fresh-cut Christmas trees at Heritage Park during park hours, dawn until dusk.
Trees can be left in the designated taped-off area of Heritage Park’s soccer parking area.
The trees will be mulched and used by Clarksville Parks & Recreation at local parks and trails.
