Hayes and his team have a history of working with military-connected organizations such as the USO to perform shows for military families. However, this is the first time Hayes has visited Fort Campbell.

“I am so excited about [this concert],” Hayes said. “It is easily one of the most anticipated shows we have this summer. I’m honored and grateful to have this opportunity. I appreciate the invitation. I will try to make everyone proud and give them some memories and the night they deserve to relax, have fun and enjoy.”

The Tour for the Troops is a partnership with the Air Force Reserves and Fort Campbell Morale, Welfare and Recreation to bring Hayes to the installation, said Catherine Walker, MWR special events manager. Tour for the Troops last visited the installation six years ago with Kelly Clarkson.
