FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Fort Campbell will conduct a full-scale exercise Wednesday, May 9, 2018 to train all elements of emergency response and recovery in real time.
According to the Fort Campbell Courier, this is the largest emergency response and recovery exercise of the year. It is an opportunity for all elements to train and work together as they would in a real emergency.

Few details about the training exercise have been released publicly to provide the most realistic test for emergency response preparedness.
The Courier says about 35 role-players will participate in the exercise and during the training people may see role-players with simulated injuries at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital and clinics.
Major traffic delays are not expected, but drivers should be aware of an increased presence of emergency vehicles. Road closures will be limited to North Destiny Road near Campbell Army Airfield. Drivers may experience short delays at the gates during the exercise.
