CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville man jailed on multiple felony charges, including homicide, is at large after failing to return from a court-ordered furlough.
According to Clarksville police, Timothy True Hutcherson had been incarcerated at the Montgomery County Jail for a sentence from general sessions court and was awaiting trail on the following charges: homicide, two counts of attempted murder, three counts of aggravated assault, two counts of possession of a firearm during a felony, and reckless endangerment.
The court granted Hutcherson a three-hour furlough to attend his father’s funeral Jan. 6 from 6-9 p.m., but he did not return.
The Clarksville Police Department and Montgomery Sheriff’s Office took immediate action to attempt to locate Hutcherson, but have not located him as of Monday afternoon. The Sheriff’s Office has an active warrant for escape and has coordinated with the U.S. Marshals Service.
Hutcherson was jailed for a fatal shooting on Beech Street in Nov. 2017 as well as a shooting at an apartment complex on Market Street in September 2017.
