CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Brentwood won its first game of the season, taking a commanding lead early and never looking back in defeating Rossview 24-6 Friday night at Hawks field in the ESPN Clarksville Game of the Week.
The Bruins scored in the game’s first three minutes on a touchdown run by running back Ahmad Arnold, capping off a five play, 66 yard drive.
The Bruins would later score on a long pass play and a 65 yard run by John Robertson in the first half, taking a 21-0 lead at halftime. Rossview would cut the lead to 21-6 on a touchdown run by Jordan Justice, with Brentwood rounding out the game with a 42 yard field goal by Tucker Day.
Rossview hits the road this Friday with a contest at Station Camp.
