CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Tennessee Sports Writers Association has announced their all-state selections for the 2025-26 high school basketball season.
Rossview High senior Jiyair Rose and Kirkwood High junior Armani Smith were both named selections on the 4A team.

Rose, the lone starter left from the Hawks’ 2024 state tournament run, took his game to another level this season, averaging 19.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.2 steals per game for Rossview, and earning Clarksville Now All-Area first team honors. Rose propelled the Hawks to a Region 7-4A championship appearance, where he set a school record with 41 points. Rose will take his talents to Walters State Community College next season to continue his basketball career.
As for Smith, he earned the Clarksville Now Player of the Year in 2025-26. He led the Cobras to district and regional titles in his junior season, averaging 24 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals per game. Smith will have one more season to etch his name in not only Kirkwood, but Clarksville history.
