NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Authorities are investigating the discovery of a burned body in Robertson County.
WTVF-TV reports that emergency dispatch received a call Sunday morning about something on fire in a field near Highway 76.
First responders found a burned body near the edge of a large field near the Montgomery County line.
Investigators say it is too soon to determine whether foul play is involved.
Robertson County sheriff’s spokesman Ryan Martin says the sheriff’s office has requested assistance from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
