CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce will bring together regional business leaders this September for a series of networking and economic development events, led by the 32nd annual Golf Scramble and the Federal Reserve Breakfast featuring Emily Mitchell, assistant vice president/regional executive and senior business analyst, Justin Shadley from the Nashville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. The Chamber’s September calendar also includes its popular monthly Business After Hours.
The Chamber’s September lineup begins with the 32nd annual Golf Scramble on Sept. 8 at Swan Lake Golf Course. One of the Chamber’s longest-running traditions, the tournament attracts more than 130 business professionals, community stakeholders and local and regional leaders from across the region for networking and friendly competition.
Networking opportunities continue Sept. 17 with the Chamber’s Business After Hours at Old Glory Distilling Company. The event follows the Chamber’s August Business Expo and Business After Hours at Beachaven Downtown, for which organizers temporarily closed a portion of the street to give business owners the opportunity to showcase products and services and connect with fellow Chamber members, community leaders and potential customers. The Chamber anticipates another strong turnout for the September event.

Economic trends and business forecasting will take center stage on Sept. 22 during the Federal Reserve Breakfast, featuring Emily Mitchell and Justin Shadley from the Nashville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Mitchell will provide insight into current economic conditions and trends affecting businesses at the local, regional and national levels, helping employers, executives and entrepreneurs make informed decisions in an evolving economic environment. The programming supports the Chamber’s mission of advancing the business community while fostering economic growth and enhancing quality of life throughout Clarksville-Montgomery County.
