CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Another restaurant has announced plans to open soon on Franklin Street in downtown Clarksville: Roni’s Mac Bar.
Roni’s Mac Bar was founded in 2022 in Waco, Texas, and their planned location will be owned by local franchisee Austin Shaw and Dan Winkler, according to press release to Clarksville Now. The restaurant will be located at 136 Franklin St., Suite 100, which was previously home to Hot Pita and then Official Wings.

This is the second bit of Franklin Street restaurant news this week, with Jack Brown’s Beer and Burger Joint announcing plans to open at 117 Franklin, the former Tarboosh location.
What is Roni’s Mac Bar?
“Roni’s Mac Bar has quickly gained a nationwide reputation for its mouthwatering macaroni and cheese combinations. Customers can build their own creation by choosing from a wide variety of toppings, ranging from classic favorites like chicken and bacon to more unique options such as corn or pineapple,” the release said.
The Clarksville location is projected to be the company’s 16th franchise, and other franchises are scheduled to open later this year in Minnesota and Arkansas.
While an opening date has not been announced, those interested in following the progress of the future Clarksville location have been urged to follow the restaurant’s social media channels @ronismacbarclarksville.
