CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Local food truck staple Legends Smokehouse & Grill opened their brick and mortar restaurant at 803 S. Riverside Drive this week.

Along with their food truck, Legends Smokehouse & Grill also served customers at their former restaurant on Tiny Town Road until the move to the site of what many will remember as G’s Pancake House.

Plans were for a grand opening at noon, along with the ribbon cutting as a new member of the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce, but owners Kevin and Yvette Smith decided to go ahead and open early for the crowd gathered outside the restaurant.

“It’s a great place to have some great food. Me and my wife started this a little over four years ago with a dream of just making barbecue sauce, and it spread to where we’re giving back to the community now. We’ve been blessed through our hard work and our efforts and it’s paid off,” said Kevin Smith.

Legend’s menu carries many food truck favorites, as well as some new additions. Yvette Smith previously told Clarksville Now about “secret menu” items that guests should look out for, including the Sweet Mess, a burger with cinnamon roll buns.

Right now, Legend’s Smokehouse & Grill is open Tuesday-Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., but those hours may change.
