Clarksville, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – As Tennessee starts its phased reopening and in compliance with CDC guidelines, Premier Medical Group will open May 4 to see patients in office for elective visits.
These may include chronic disease management, preventive care and diagnostic imaging services. Patients who have put their healthcare needs on hold during the Coronavirus pandemic, may now consider contacting their physician regarding an in office visit. Physicians will advise on the best route to receive care during this time. A virtual visit may be an option.
Premier’s safety practices include:
- All employees are screened and have their temperatures taken daily. Symptomatic employees are not allowed to work, and CDC guidelines are followed for their testing, care and return to work.
- Staff are wearing face masks for the protection of patients and employees. Patients who have in office appointments are asked to wear their own masks to the clinic.
- Only essential visitors may accompany patients to their appointments.
- All patients coming to Premier are screened at the front doors and are triaged to keep sick, well and suspected COVID cases separate from each other.
- Social distancing is maintained within the clinics, and cleaning and disinfecting practices are heightened throughout the day.
Premier encourages everyone to be familiar with the updated symptoms of the Coronavirus; to know how to protect themselves and others; and what to do if they become sick.
