CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- A woman has been charged with accessory after the fact and tampering with evidence as Clarksville Police investigated the murder of 32-year-old Desergio Taylor.
Marc Crowder and Decory Smith, are both charged with criminal homicide in the Jan. 15, 2020 shooting on Bennett Drive.

According to previous reports, Crowder and Smith were allowed inside of the residence at 110 Bennett Drive. As soon as the men were inside, they were heard saying, “You know what this is,” and then multiple gunshots were heard.
Desergio Taylor, 32, was shot multiple times and died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from his injuries.
Smith and Crowder were also wounded and after being treated at the hospital were released and charged.
Ricki Cheyenne Adkins, 25, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 11 and charged with accessory after the fact and tampering with evidence on allegations she made statements about destroying evidence.
According to a warrant, during the course fo the investigation, an interview was conducted with Adkins and during the interview and after being advised of her Miranda Rights, she stated the cell phone that she had on her belonged to her and denied consent to completely search the phone.
During a phone call made by Crowder to Atkins from the Montgomery County Jail, Crowder allegedly told Adkins to “get everything out of the house,” the warrant said.
Adkins allegedly told Crowder “she had already gotten everything out of the house, because she heard the police talking about a search warrant.” She also allegedly told Crowder that she told police his phone belonged to her and she would not let police search the phone.
She also said she “logged him off of Facebook due to the police having his cell phone.”
Crowder then told her they needed to get that phone back.
Crowder is being held in the Montgomery County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
