Update, 3:16 p.m.: After investigating, no explosive device was discovered, and managers for the Fort Campbell Planet Fitness have made the decision to open and resume business as usual, said Spielhagen.

The Clarksville Police Department does not dictate when a store should close, evacuate, or reoccupy; that is the sole decision of management for any given business. It appears that it was not a viable threat, but it is still an ongoing investigation and CPD is following up on possible leads,” she said.
