CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – CDE Lightband has debuted a new channel streaming service to better serve those looking to cut the cord with traditional video offerings. CDE Lightband had been promoting a new product launch on its Facebook page since early November and customers have been speculating the reveal.
The much anticipated product announcement was released November 18 and is available for any customers connected to CDE Lightband’s Fiber Fast Internet.
Streaming has become more and more popular in recent years for individuals looking to find a cordless and more affordable alternative to traditional set top box cable. However, making the switch to streaming channels over an internet connection often comes with a sacrifice. Many times customers are having to pick between the all the channels they enjoy versus the convenience of streaming. Big brand streaming services often have limited channel packages, and some do not carry local channels. This is where CDE Lightband has stepped in to create a better option for their customers.
There will be three packages from which to choose. Each package can be tailored to meet individual needs. All streaming packages will include 250 Mbps of internet (upload and download speeds), up to three streams simultaneously, and for a limited time a free 4K Amazon Firestick when you sign up. The top tier package also features a free suite of premium channels.
Streaming with CDE Lightband’s Fiber Fast Internet will give users over 100 channels, including all the local Nashville channels. Customers will have access to local sports channels to enjoy ESPN’s Nashville Predators, Atlanta Braves, SEC Network, Big 10 Networks, NFL Red Zone channel, and many more.
“We are very excited to be able to provide our customers a streaming option,” said Brian Taylor Director, General Manager at CDE Lightband. “We now have a great option for those looking to cut the cord right here at CDE. With all packages starting at under $100, and that is including 250 Mbps of internet – we can offer the best value for streamers. Our customers will have access to all the channels they have always loved with our traditional video services.”
Not ready to cut the cord? Don’t worry, CDE confirmed traditional video isn’t going anywhere.
“We will continue to offer set top box style video services in addition to our new streaming services. We
will now have an ideal option for all our users,” Taylor states.
There are also add on options for customers needing more internet speed or more simultaneous streams. For more information on streaming and packages visit CDE Lightband’s website at cdelightband.com/streaming or call 931-648-8151 to speak to a customer service representative.
