CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- (CLARKSVILLENOW) Virtual Shots, a new shooting simulation range, is now open to the public in Clarksville.

All ages and skill levels are welcome, from beginner to advanced shooters. The facility boasts a total of four shooting rooms in addition to two conference areas and a party room.

Owner David Tallon worked at Fort Campbell for over 33 years on simulation and training as a contractor and brings his experience and knowledge to his new business.

All the pistols and rifles featured in the simulations have been modified with infrared lasers to work with the simulation. Tallon explained that by not having live ammunition the shooter can focus more on how to properly use the trigger or aim at a target.

“It’s 100 percent safe and you don’t have to worry about anyone getting hurt,” Tallon said.

Customers also have the option to use Co2 recoil kits for the weapons to replicate the feeling of recoil.

Simulations include kids’ games for entertainment, hunting simulations, and material to review or study for the hunter’s education course. There are also competition shooting simulations for three gun, pistol, and trap shooting. Other simulations include self-defense and police scenarios.

Tallon says customer favorites so far have included zombie and sci-fi themes, as well as a pirate-themed simulation for kids.

Virtual Shots, located at 130 Corporate Drive, is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. For more information visit the Virtual Shots website or Facebook Page.
