Story by Art Conn
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Jan Dial is directing the next theatre production, “Heaven Help Me”, written by Joseph Simonelli, at The Cumberland Arts Centre.
The play centers around the three Holloway brothers, whose string of restaurants are failing; the youngest – and black sheep of the family – Rollie, owes money to every bookie in town, and the brothers need to sell the family beach house to recapitalize their business. The only problem: their deceased brother, Fred, is haunting the place and seems to have no intention of vacating. The brothers are Sam (Jeff Wellington), Kevin (Menzo Faassen), Rollie (Bill Colclough) and Fred (Vernon Greene). Rollie’s girlfriend is played by Colleen Hyder. Making her CAC debut is Nancy Sneed as sister-in-law Martha.
Production dates for “Heaven Help me” are Oct. 11, 12, 18 and 19, with doors opening at 6 p.m. and dinner service beginning at 6:30 p.m. For more information or to make reservations, call the Cumberland Arts Centre at 931-552-1106.
