Hopkinsville Crime Stoppers offers $1,000 for arrest of murder suspect

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Hopkinsville-Christian County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that helps law enforcement locate and arrest 27-year-old Julius Andre Catlett Jr. who is wanted for his alleged involvement in the shooting death of Shaun Smith.

The shooting occurred in the early morning hours of September 4 on Younglove St. Catlett is described as a black male, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds. Catlett is to be considered armed and dangerous.

If anyone knows where Catlett can be found, please call Hopkinsville-Christian County Crime Stoppers at 270-887-TIPS (8477). If your information leads to Catlett’s arrest, you will receive a $1,000 cash reward. You will remain anonymous and you will not have to appear in court.
