Clarksville police bust two for prostitution at local spa

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) apprehended two people involved in prostitution Thursday, Jan. 2 thanks to an anonymous tip.

The Special Operations Unit was arrested two women at the 7 Therapy Spa at 2150 Wilma Rudolph Blvd., Suites 6 and 7. Ok Thomas, 61, was arrested for promoting prostitution and Soon Park, 67, was arrested for prostitution.

Officers discovered the spa had been advertising on an online classifieds page. According to Officer Natalie Hall, agents obtained surveillance video through a search warrant, and will continue the investigation by reviewing footage of previous patrons and witnesses arriving for possible criminal charges.

The members of CPD’s Special Operations Unit are very appreciative of the information provided by the anonymous tip and were able to stop further criminal activity at the business. CPD encourages citizens to provide tips whenever possible.
