Update, 1:30 p.m.: The woman killed in a boat explosion on Sunday was Cristal Berggren, 49 of Clarksville, according to a news release from the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.
Her husband, David Berggren, 56, was injured.

David Berggren is the owner of Furniture Connection and several other businesses in Clarksville. Cristal Berggren is vice president and treasurer of the business.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A woman has died from her injuries in the boat explosion on the Cumberland River on Sunday.
At about 4 p.m., the boat, a 38-foot Carver, had just refueled at the Montgomery County Conservation Club and was getting underway when the incident occurred, according to a news release from the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.

Both the operator and occupant were thrown into the water, where they were rescued by a nearby boater.
A 49-year-old woman from Clarksville was transported by Montgomery County EMS to Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville, where she later died.
The male operator, age 56 from Clarksville, is still being treated at Tennova, TWRA said.
Their names have not been released.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing.

Clarksville Fire Rescue, Montgomery County EMS and Montgomery County Fire Department responded.
The Conservation Club boat docks are off the US Highway 41A Bypass a couple of miles upriver from downtown.
