Wilton Carl Self, age 64, died Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at his home. He was born March 22, 1949, to the late Johnny Self and Maggie Minton Self. Mr. Self was also preceded in death two children, Jerry Beard and Kathy Choat, two brothers, Tommy and Lurton Self, and two sisters, Kathy and Jeanette Self.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 22 at 2:00 PM at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Clara Helen Lindsey Self; three sons, Wilton Carl Self, Jr., James “Bo” (Angie) Beard, and Lindsey (Connie) Beard; three brothers, Joe Self, Kenny Self, and Kenneth Self; four sisters, Anne Coop, Frances Alley, Anna Perry, and Becky Davis; six grandchildren and one great-grandaughter..
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
