Will Bailey Harvey, age 82 of Clarksville, passed away August 9, 2021, at Tennova Healthcare.

He entered this life on October 17, 1938 in Montgomery County to the late Thellie and Ruby Hand Harvey. He was a Christian man who loved being outdoors, especially when fishing.

Will was a veteran of the United States Army, the owner of Betty’s Antiques and was a former manager of Acme Boot. One of his greatest joys in life was watching and attending his grandchildren’s sports and activities.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Edna Lovett.

Survivors include his wife, Penny Hettinger Harvey; daughters, Tana (Brice) Smith, Amy Gerlach and Laura McGehee; brother, Larry Harvey; nephew, Joseph; and niece, Leslie. Will was known as “Poppy” to 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A celebration of  his life will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers, and burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Bro. Garrette Milliken officiating.
