CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – It’s summer festival weekend in Clarksville, with three big summer mainstays coming up.
Jazz on the Lawn: The next big show, featuring Tina Brown, is Saturday from 3 to 9:30 p.m. at Beachaven Vineyards and Winery, 1100 Dunlop Lane. Tyme opens at 3 p.m. and Tina Brown at 6:30. Tickets are $5 for adults, 17 and younger free.
Downtown @ Sundown: The Eagles Project, and Eagles tribute band, will perform on Friday from 7-10 p.m. at Downtown Commons, 215 Legion St. The event is free, and food trucks will be present. Bring a blanket or lawn chair.
Movies in the Park: The movie on Saturday, starting at sunset, will be “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” at Liberty Park, 1188 Cumberland Drive. Bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs and come hungry as we will have food available for purchase from food vendors on-site. Please leave pets and alcohol at home. Pre-show activities and performances begin about one hour before showtime.
The Color Purple: The Roxy Regional Theatre, 100 Franklin St., is showing the musical version of this Alice Walker story Friday and Saturday night, for closing weekend. Tickets are $35 (adults) and $15 (10 and under).
