CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – We’re now in the thick of the 2024-25 high school football season after four weeks of play. Several teams have surprised, some have pulled off major upsets, and some haven’t lost a game yet. Let’s take a look at the matchups in the Clarksville-Area on Friday, Sept. 20.

ESPN Clarksville Game of the Week: Rossview High (4-0) @ Northeast High (0-4)

The Rossview Hawks have been rolling and started 4-0 for the first time since 2013 season. Now, they have another region test against the Northeast Eagles. Eagles head coach Denote Weston will look to spoil the Hawks winning streak for his first career win at Northeast High.

Clarksville Now Game of the Week: Fort Knox (0-4) @ Fort Campbell (1-3)

Fort Campbell football is set to go up against Fort Knox on Friday for their annual Army Bowl matchup. Following the Falcons upset win last week, expect Fryar Stadium to be rocking tomorrow night. The Falcons lead the all-time series 31-16 and have won the last two games played.

Dickson County (2-2) @ Kirkwood High (4-0)

The biggest game in region 7-6A is at Kirkwood High School on Friday. Dickson, who was a playoff team a year ago, is coming off an impressive win at Gallatin, and looks to collect a region victory and take first in the region standings. Meanwhile, the Cobras look to stay undefeated, as they face their toughest test to this point in the 2024-25 season.

West Creek (2-2) @ Clarksville High (4-0)

The West Creek Coyotes have picked up major wins in their first few games under head coach Michael Booker, including last week’s region victory over Kenwood. Now, they’ll have to travel to Hilda J. Richardson Field to face the undefeated Wildcats, who haven’t lost a game to a Clarksville opponent since 2021.

Northwest High (1-3) @ Franklin Road Academy (4-0)

After their opening day victory against Fort Campbell, the Northwest Vikings have lost three consecutive games. Mark Hall’s squad will look to get back on track as they visit Franklin Road Academy, who recently defeated Kenwood High.

Hillsboro High (2-2) @ Kenwood High (0-4)

After a tough loss to the West Creek Coyotes, the Kenwood Knights return to action against Hillsboro High. The Knights will look to rebound in their second straight home game and collect their first win of 2024-25.

Clarksville Academy (1-3) @ Grace Christian (1-3)

The Clarksville Academy Cougars travel to Franklin, Tennessee this week to take on the Grace Christian Lions. With both teams sitting at 1-3 on the season, each team will look to fight until the final whistle to earn their second victory of the year.

Montgomery Central (0-4) @ Pearl Cohn (2-2)

The Montgomery Central Indians have had an incredibly tough schedule to start the season, and while their record may not show it, the Indians have been steadily improving. This week, the Indians face another tall task at hand, heading to Pearl-Cohn to face the defending 4A state champions.
