Update, 5:50 p.m.: The storm that prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled, according to the NWS. However gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued until 6 p.m. for northeastern Montgomery County.

At 5:28 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near Fort Campbell, moving east at 30 mph with possible 60 mph wind gusts, according to the National Weather Service.
