Update, 8:07 p.m.: The National Weather Service has canceled the Tornado Warning.
“The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado,” the NWS said. “Therefore, the warning has been canceled.”
Update, 8:05 p.m.: In a Tornado Warning, residents are advised to take shelter now.
“Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building,” the NWS advised. “Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
“Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.”
Update, 8 p.m.: Fort Campbell has issued a weather warning for moderate thunderstorms on Campbell Army Airfield and Saber Army Heliport. There’s a chance of quarter inch hail through 10 p.m.
Update, 7:40 p.m.: A Tornado Warning has been issued for southwestern Montgomery County through 8:15 p.m., along with southeastern Stewart County and northeastern Houston County.
Residents in those areas should seek shelter immediately.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A Tornado Warning has been issued for Stewart and Houston counties, and the storm is moving toward Clarksville.
At 7:09 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Paris Landing State Park, moving east at 30 mph, according to the National Weather Service. The warning includes Dover, Tennessee Ridge, McKinnon until 7:45 p.m.
Warnings may be coming for Clarksville, the NWS said.
The storms could bring damaging winds and minor flooding as the main threats.
As for what’s next, Thursday afternoon and evening a few strong storms are possible. Wind gusts of 40-50 mph are the main concern.
