CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Pleasant View Christian School Warriors traveled to Clarksville Christian School for a district matchup on Tuesday night. The Centurions were sound defensively, but couldn’t get their shots to fall, and turnovers were the Achilles heel in a 67-34 loss to the Warriors.
Pleasant View Christian School started the game out strong, going on a 13-0 run to open the contest. It took the Centurions 7 minutes into the contest to score their first basket, after which the Warriors then went on a 14-0 run.

Pleasant View Christian School seemed to be getting their hands on every pass and coming up with every loose ball. After holding Clarksville Christian to another eight minutes without a made basket, the Warriors held a whopping 32-10 lead at the half.
The Centurions didn’t lie down though, going on a quick 8-0 run midway through the third quarter, led by six points from Kreid Smith, who finished the night as Clarksville’s leading scorer with 11.
However, every time the Centurions would get momentum, a costly turnover would lead to a transition bucket for the Warriors, and the lead grew too big to overcome. Pleasant View forward Garyn Chave led all scorers with 26 points on the night, dominating inside for a statement win on the road.
