UPDATE: Interstate 24 mostly clear until state line

Update, 1:15 p.m.: Westbound traffic is mostly clear on the Tennessee side of the state line. It is slow but moving starting at the state line for about 2 miles.

Update, 11:45 a.m.: Traffic is clearing at Exit 1, but the backup continues just past the exit on both sides of the state line.

Previously: 

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Traffic on Interstate 24 westbound was backed up at the state line Monday.

At about 11 a.m., traffic was backed up from past the Kentucky state line past Exit 1 to about mile marker 2.
