CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The upcoming Tip a Cop fundraiser for Special Olympics will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at at O’Charley’s, located at 674 N. Riverside Drive.
The event will be held from 11 a.m-1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. For those who can’t dine with us and want to give, donations can be dropped off anytime at O’Charley’s, December 18, between 11 am- 8 pm.
Officers will be on hand to “literally” serve the community.
Last year was a resounding success with $3,539 raised in a single day for Special Olympics. The Clarksville community raised the bar by collecting the largest amount, ever, in Tennessee during a Tip a Cop lunch — $1,990. It would be great to exceed last year’s number for this great cause.
More events will be held in support of Special Olympics including the APSU Polar Plunge in February.
