Ongoing events

Clarksville Downtown Market

Where: 1 Public Square
When: Saturdays, May 13-Oct. 21, 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday
Cost: Free admission
Details: Weekly open-air market featuring farmers and artisans who offer locally-grown fresh produce, food items, and handcrafted products. Plus, live music and special events.

First Thursday Art Walk

Where: Downtown Clarksville
When: First Thursday of each month, 5-8 p.m.
Cost: Free admission
Details: Self-guided tour that combines visual art, live music, engaging events and more. Rain or shine.

Mayor’s Summer Night Lights

When: Tuesday nights May 13-Oct. 21
Where: Various locations
Cost: Free
Details: Each night features a variety of activities such as a DJ, sports tournaments, enrichment sessions, health and job information booths, motivational speakers, arts and crafts. A free meal is also provided while supplies last.

Chow Down with the Food Trucks

Where: 690 N. Riverside Drive
When: 4-7 p.m. Saturdays through Oct. 28
Cost: Free admission
Details: Weekly event featuring a rotation of several local food trucks.

Oktoberfest 

Where: Beachaven Vineyards and Winery, 1100 Dunlop Lane
When: Friday-Sunday, Sept. 22-24
Cost: Free admission
Details: Presented by The Star Spangled Brewing Co., the seventh annual Clarksville Oktoberfest will feature a live polka band all weekend, Oktoberfest beers, wines from the vineyard, tons of German foods and games, along with dancing and stein-holding competitions.

Sept. 23

Bankin Festival

Where: Run-a-Muck Outfitters, 3011 Port Royal Road, Adams
When: Saturday, Sept. 23
Cost: $10 admission
Details: Music festival to benefit Coalition for Cause woman and children charities. Featuring Still Moves, Shelton Slack, Walt Heggie Band, Jeremy Holt and the Tennessee Field Hands. With food trucks, an art show and more.

Movie Night

Where: Downtown Commons, 215 Legion St.
When: 7:30 p.m. Saturday Sept. 23.
Cost: Free
Details: Join in a family fun movie night under the stars with a showing of Encanto.
