Update, 8:33 p.m.: A Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for Montgomery County until midnight.
Update, 7:23 p.m.: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for east central Montgomery County until 8 p.m. A severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles northwest of Coopertown, or 13 miles southeast of Clarksville, moving east at 25 mph with up to 60 mph wind gusts.
Update, 7:02 p.m.: A Warning has been issued for Eastern Montgomery County. A severe thunderstorm is located 7 miles south of Clarksville, moving northeast at 35 mph with up to 60 mph wind gusts.
Update, 6:51 p.m.: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for southern Montgomery County until 7:30 p.m.
Severe thunderstorms are located along a line extending from 6 miles east of Erin to near Waverly, moving northeast at 35 mph with possible 60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A strong thunderstorm will roll across northwestern Montgomery County through 6:45 p.m.
At 6:17 p.m., the National Weather Service was tracking a storm 8 miles southwest of Fort Campbell moving northeast at 25 mph with possible 40 mph wind gusts.
“Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects,” the alert said. “If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.”

- Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms likely before 1am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 1am and 3am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 70. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
- Juneteenth: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before noon. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 85. Southwest wind around 10 mph becoming west northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
- Thursday night: Patchy fog after midnight. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 65. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
- Friday: Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 88. Calm wind.
