CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Montgomery County will get its first look at two “storybook trails” this weekend with grand opening events.
On Saturday, Aug. 28, the first trail will be unveiled at Weakley Park, 4674 Sango Road, at 10 a.m., and the second one at RichEllen Park, 1466 Highway 149, at 1 p.m.
These storybook trails were created as part of a local Eagle Scout project by Ethan Morrow. They are designed to encourage early childhood literacy and physical activity in the outdoors and are a partnership between the Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation, the Imagination Library, and Montgomery County Parks and Recreation, Morrow said.
Small refreshments will be provided.
