CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville police say two suspects are jailed following an overnight chase that led officers from several police agencies through three counties.

The pursuit began in Clarksville after a 911 call about shots fired in the 200 block of Timber Ct. The owner of a vehicle damaged by gunshots told the dispatcher that she saw a burgundy Trailblazer with several occupants fleeing the scene. She identified the driver as Tionna Thomas.

While officers searched for the Trailblazer, Thomas allegedly called another victim “threatening to come over and shoot her house up.”

A Clarksville Police officer located Thomas’ vehicle near Holiday Drive and Wilma Rudolph Blvd., but the vehicle fled the scene, initiating a pursuit by the officer and Montgomery County deputies.

Clarksville Police terminated its pursuit, which was picked up by officers from Cheatham County, Robertson County, Springfield, and Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The trooper took Tionna Thomas into custody. Her passenger, Elijah Hughes, fled and was then located by Robertson County Deputies. Both were taken to Robertson County Jail.

This is a developing story. We will provide more details when they are released.
