Update, 5 p.m.: Traffic has cleared up at all sites, but there may be lingering backups.
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Heavy rainfall this afternoon caused multiple traffic problems, including a crash with injuries on Dunbar Cave Road.
At about 3:50 p.m., vehicles crashed in the westbound lane at Cave Road. At 4:10 p.m., traffic was backed up from Cave Road to past Dunbar Cave State Park.
There are also traffic backups on Interstate 24 in the eastbound and westbound lanes at Exit 8.
Another wreck at Old Ashland City Road has the Bypass backed up from Glendale Drive to Appleton Harley Davidson.
Tiny Town Road eastbound is backed up from Needmore Road past Peachers Mill Road almost to Tobacco Road.
