Sallye Halford, age 93 peacefully entered Heaven’s gates Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Skyline Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Funeral service will be noon Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the Greater Faith Temple Church of God in Christ located at 618 9th Street Clarksville,TN.Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from noon until 8 p.m. with the family present from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
She was born November 3, 1919 in Todd County, Kentucky to the late Daniel Foston, Jr. and Etta Mae Matlock Foston. She was a member of Greater Faith Temple Church of God in Christ.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Dan S. Foston, George W. Foston and sisters Susie Fields and Mae Etta Foston. She leaves to cherish her memory loving husband James A. Halford,Sr;sons James A. (Patricia) Halford, Jr Clarksville,TN, Donald R. Halford San Antonio,TX and Keith W. Halford Newnan,GA;sister Helen B. Terrance Phoenix,AZ; brother in law Nathaniel Halford Pine Bluff, AR and four grandchildren and six great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
